Catholic Clerics urge Nigerians to pray for Buhari

The spiritual head of the Adoration Ministries, Enugu, Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka has said themat those wishing President Buhari dead do not love the country and are not patriotic citizens.

Rev Fr Mbaka said this during a sermon at the first Adoration Ministry Crusade for this year.

"Children of God, what do we gain from wishing someone dead?. We should pray for pur leaders, that's what the bible says" he said.

Mbaka also accused those working for Buhari as elements who are concerned about what they can get from his administration and not what they can give or do.

He further said that President Buhari surrounded himself with people who do not support him.

In a related development, Bishop Martins Uzoukwu of the Catholic diocese of Minna has called on Nigerians to pray for the recovery of Buhari

As to why there is no news on the date of Buhari's return, Femi Adeshina, a special adviser to the president on Media and Publicity has  said that there is no vacuum in the presidency as Acting President Yemi Osinbanjo is already filling in for Buhari.
